Mission

Kansas Osteopathic Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit that educates the public about the benefits of osteopathic medicine and provides scholarships and support to osteopathic physicians. 

All members of the Kansas Association of Osteopathic Medicine are also members of the Kansas Osteopathic Foundation (KOF).

The Board meets in regular session twice a year in conjunction with the CME meetings, and other times as needed.  The plenary session of the Foundation is conducted at the Spring Annual Meeting & CME of KAOM.

KOF is funded totally by contributions from its members, other individuals, and institutions with an interest in enhancing understanding and servicing the Osteopathic profession.

The Kansas Osteopathic Foundation is governed by a nine member Board of Trustees.

Kansas Society of the ACOFP

Mission

The Kansas ACOFP is a component society of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. Their mission is to promote excellence in osteopathic family medicine through quality education, visionary leadership and responsible advocacy. KAOM administers the ACOFP state chapter in Kansas.
